About Laurence
Move · Breathe · Thrive with Laurence
A yoga teacher, movement specialist and wellness consultant who helps people reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds and feel well in everyday life.
My journey
From movement to healing
Yoga has been my path for many years, and over time my practice has naturally moved in a more therapeutic direction.
At first I was drawn to movement: the strength, the flexibility and the challenge of the physical practice. But years of teaching people from all walks of life showed me that most of them were looking for something more than a deeper stretch or a stronger body. They wanted relief from pain, a calmer nervous system, better sleep, and a space to reconnect with themselves.
That realisation led me to deepen my studies in therapeutic yoga, breathwork, meditation and sound healing. Instead of chasing perfect poses, I became passionate about helping people move with awareness, restore balance and support the body's natural ability to heal.
Today my classes blend mindful movement with evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, creating practices that nourish both body and mind. Whether through yoga, Pilates or sound healing, my intention stays the same: to help you feel stronger, more resilient and more at home in your own body.

My story
From Belgium to Thailand
I began my career in Switzerland, graduating with honours from the Vieux-Bois hotel and business school in 1994. For the next two decades I worked in hotels, resorts and spas across Europe and Asia, learning what real hospitality means: anticipating needs, paying attention to detail, and making every guest feel looked after.
Yoga started as my own way to stay grounded through long days and constant travel. In 2010 I completed my first teacher training in Byron Bay, and I have kept studying every year since.
In 2017 I moved to Phuket, and a year later I joined Thanyapura, one of Asia's leading health and sports resorts. Over seven years as Senior Wellness Coach, I worked with guests from all walks of life and with athletes from around the world, deepening my expertise in yoga, Pilates, breathwork, meditation and holistic wellbeing.
Today I continue to share that passion through private sessions, retreats and community classes across Phuket, in English and French, creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect and find balance.
